haha!

why would anyone think like that? thats a useless way to think! we have to worry about our new cars and our expensive houses…and our big bank accounts.

Mind expansion through meditation. is that worth doing? sitting down like a fool crossing your legs and supposedly going into your mind??? ok….that sounds interesting…

Expanding your mind through psychotropics? taking acid and mushrooms. is that worth it? to be a loser and use drugs? is that the best way to expand your mind? it seems to be???

There are numerous ways to expand your mind and go beyond the realm of understanding that you are familiar with. Don’t be afraid to grow and change in a direction you are not entirely familiar with. think for yourself and don’t be a sheep and follow others to an existence you have no desire for. do not be just another voice or just another face. be the voice and face of change, peace, and understanding. for yourself and others.

Is expanding your mind worth it? yes.

I started to wonder how cool would it be if a persons life actually was that intensely celebrated at every moment they had. Could you imagine walking down the sidewalk and see 30+ people all dancing and singing together and then randomly breaking off? I think it would be a great and hilarious.

Anyways point to be made.

Can we define creativity, and if we do, does that mean we are one step further in duplicating it? Is it possible to train a computer to be creative? Why not say artificial intelligence computer scientists, but psychologists, religious scholars and philosophers say not so fast because if you train a computer to be creative, then you are setting rules of knowledge use, therefore it would not be creative, rather following rules.

Still, the skeptics of mankind’s absolute domain on creativity say that if an artificial intelligent machine creates, it is creative, no matter how it got there. Some say sure, but it would not be artificial intelligence, it would computer rules; so, then can computers become creative? And if they can that would mean mankind’s creativity is not special at all.

Worse, the debate rages on as to whether a creative computer is actually creative or that it would only prove that the human programmers was so creative he created a computer to be creative. Interesting lines of thought on the psychology of the Creative Mind and if this interests you as well, perhaps I might recommend a very good book to you:

“The Creative Mind; Myths and Mechanisms” by Margaret A. Boden; 1990.

The author, Margaret Boden also wrote the book; “Artificial Intelligence and Natural Man” and this later work we find that Margaret challenges all the past period psychologists and philosophers on the issue of creativity. Can we define creativity, Margaret Boden believes so and poses such a definition, and gives the history of the psychology of creativity, and probable futures. If you are a creative expert and do not own this book.

Well, I hate to say it like this, but there is a good chance you are a fraud. You see there are a whole lot of so-called psychology experts which specialize in creativity, and yet they have a really tough time with defining it, reproducing it or explaining how it happens.

Did you ever wonder just exactly how people are making money online working from home? Working online is becoming more and more popular as more people around the world get the Internet. Almost every household today has at least one computer in it.

So how are these people profiting from the Internet all from the comfort of there home then?

I am going to help you learn how to start making money from home. First you need to research, and I don’t mean just your basic searching here and there for a few hours. I mean read between the lines. Go to forums, and chats. Find out what is really working for people, and what is really paying people money. If you don’t do this you will find that most of the home business programs are scams, and rip offs. Yes there are real work at home jobs online but that is why you need to do very good research so you don’t get scammed or simply just throw your money away.

Second you need to find something that works for you. What might work for one person may not work for you. I find that this is a big mistake people do often when working online. They say ok well this person is doing it so why can’t I? Maybe the person is and expert at what they are doing to make money online. You are just starting out and are a beginner. So don’t always go thinking that if someone made money off it you are going to profit just as they did. Find something that fits what you know. Make sure when you start you can say “I know I can make money with this”.

Never give up! Do not give up. Your not going to become bill gates over night people. Your also not going to make millions of dollars your first year. If it was that easy everyone would be online making millions. Working from home online takes time. Most people think working from home is cake, and that its not a real job. Well that’s wrong. You might work less hours ok, but still your working very hard in those hours to earn your money.

One of the things I see everyone doing is quitting to soon. My first month working online I made only $300. Now to me I was so excited. To some people that just isn’t good enough though. Trust me when I say the money will come with time.

Advertise! You need to spend money to make money. I am sure you all herd of that saying before. In order to make any kind of money your going to have to spend a little bit of money. Your going to have to test what works, and what doesn’t work. At first you might find yourself in the hole and losing money. Just remember what I talked about above NEVER GIVE UP! Once you find where, and how to advertise the money will come, and you will see grate increases in your income.

Do not just open up one shop! When you go out do you see just one McDonalds? Or do you see like 3 or 4 within 15 miles of one another? Do not just use one program to work from home. Its ok to start off with one, but you should expand and grow your at home business. Find other things to make you even more money. Once you have successfully started making money with one program move on to the next and just keep repeating.

If you ask anyone that works from home. They are not just working with one program and making thousands all from that one thing. They have a number of programs and things making them money. So open up more then one shop!

Why are children stubborn? Why do some people become addicted to alcohol or gambling? How do you help an abused child? All of these are difficult and challenging questions that the field of psychology is trying to answer.

So, then what exactly is psychology? There are many misperceptions created by television and movies today, but the basic answer is that psychology is both an applied and academic science that studies the human mind and behavior. Research in psychology seeks to understand and explain thought, emotion, and behavior. Psychology is applied to individuals via mental health treatment, performance enhancement, self-help, ergonomics, and many other areas affecting health and daily life.

Psychology History and Schools of Thought

While people have always been fascinated by human behavior, it wasn’t until the late 19th century that psychology began to be considered an actual science. Wilhelm Wundt established the first psychology lab in Germany. He believed in a school of thought called structuralism-believing that certain structures in the mind caused behavior. Over the course of psychology’s history, different schools of thought have competed for prominence. Here are the major schools of thought in psychology:

•Structuralism. The belief that there is a connection between sensation and emotion and behavior.

•Functionalism. The idea that the human brain is much like a computer, designed to carry out specific functions.

•Psychoanalysis. Created by Sigmund Freud, this school of thought believes in the rigorous probing of an individual’s personal problems, motives, goals and attitudes as a way to heal the mind.

•Behaviorism. Proponents of this theory essentially hold that all human behavior is learned from one’s surrounding context and environment.

•Humanism. This much more recent school of thought came as a reaction to behaviorism and Psychoanalysis, and emphasizes the importance of values, intentions, and meaning in the individual. The concept of the “self” is a central focus for most humanistic psychologists.

•Cognitivism. This branch of psychology believes that psychology should be concerned with a person’s internal representations of the world and with the internal or functional organization of the mind.

As psychology moved away from its philosophical roots, psychologists began to employ more and more scientific methods to study human behavior. Today, researchers employ a variety of scientific methods, including experiments, correlational studies, longitudinal studies, and others to test, explain, and predict behavior.

Areas of Psychology

Students of psychology soon realize that the subject covers a huge range of material. The diverse topics students might study include social behavior, personality, research methods, therapeutic techniques, and much more. Because it’s such a broad and diverse field, a number of different subfields and specialty areas have emerged. The following are some of the major areas of research and application within psychology:

•Abnormal Psychology is the study of abnormal behavior. This specialty area is focused on research and treatment of a variety of mental disorders and is linked to psychotherapy and clinical psychology.

•Biological Psychology studies how biological processes influence the mind and behavior. This area is closely linked to neuroscience and utilizes tools such as MRI and PET scans to look at brain injury or brain abnormalities.

•Clinical Psychology is focused on the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental disorders.

•Cognitive Psychology is the study of human thought processes and cognitions. Cognitive psychologists study topics such as attention, memory, perception, decision-making, problem solving, and language acquisition.

•Comparative Psychology is the branch of psychology concerned with the study of animal behavior.

•Developmental Psychology is the branch of psychology that looks at human growth and development over the lifespan.

•Forensic Psychology is an applied field focused on using psychological research and principles in the legal and criminal justice system.

•Industrial-Organizational Psychology is the area of psychology that uses psychological research to enhance work performance, select employee, improve product design, and enhance usability.

•Personality Psychology looks at the various elements that make up individual personalities.

•School Psychology is the branch of psychology that works within the educational system to help children with emotional, social, and academic issues.

•Social Psychology is a discipline that uses scientific methods to study social influence, social perception, and social interaction. Social psychology studies diverse subjects including group behavior, social perception, leadership, nonverbal behavior, conformity, aggression, and prejudice.

Today, psychologists prefer to use more objective scientific methods to understand, explain, and predict human behavior. Psychological studies are highly structured, beginning with a hypothesis that is then empirically tested. Academic psychologists focus on the study of different sub-topics within psychology including personality psychology, social psychology, and developmental psychology. These psychologists conduct basic research that seeks to expand our theoretical knowledge, while other researchers conduct applied research that seeks to solve everyday problems. Applied psychology focuses on the use of different psychological principles to solve real world problems. Examples of applied areas of psychology include forensic psychology, ergonomics, and industrial-organizational psychology. Many other psychologists work as therapists, helping people overcome mental, behavioral, and emotional disorders.

Psychology is a broad and diverse field with a variety of related professions. If you are considering studying psychology, you are pursuing one of the most important and basic of the human sciences. You can expect to have a long, satisfying, and fascinating career if psychology is your field.

Many might be asking what human mind power is. For others it is the ability to empower human mind. It concerns the brain, consciousness and mind. Controversies involving these have exist since the early ages when philosophers and wise men are arguing about the nature of the mind and body relationship.

Usually mind consciousness is linked to mental functioning. This is the reason why neurologist relates the state of mental functioning to its state of consciousness. There are many times wherein your mind power has let you down. If you look deeper into the human brain you will find out how complex it really is. Mind power is important in our daily lives. We have two different types of memories one that is being used in the left side and the other one on the right side.

The two memories are the short term memory and the long memory. It is not required to memorized everything in your mind all you have to do is master the skills in helping you to have a good human memory. One of the kinds of memory that deteriorates fast is the short memory. This human mind power used to read and to recall information after we have done something. For example, you have watched something that interests you a lot and you want it to share with friends and relative. The first thing you need to do is to recall the information using your short memory.

Short term memory does not have a limit. You can store large information on it. But, if you bundle pieces of information together then it will help to increase short memory capacity.

If you need to remembered something for years the long term memory will store it for you. The long term memory stores your childhood memory and the years that pass by as you grow older. Therefore if you want to recall information of your past, then it will be coming from your long term memory.

The long term memory is composed of two parts. The semantic and the episodic memory are two memories involved in long memory. Semantic has the skills, concepts and facts while the episodic are your experiences in serial form. Using these you were able to collect the facts together and recall what happened in the pass and can actually changed it.

Another thing about long term memory is that whatever enters your short term memory will automatically go into the long term memory. But long term memory has the ability to choose which one should be stored and which one is to be deleted. It will identify what information will be needed again and which are not. This is how powerful your mind is.

To sum it all the human mind power is a complicated thing. It may deteriorate in a shorter period of time and you might end up losing everything you need to recall in the future. There are things that are needed to be done to help your mind developed and to train your mind to remember things that are needed to be remembered

Does anyone really know what the human mind is capable of? There are humans with anomalies who can do some pretty remarkable things such as Savants and other people special situations.

If the human mind is capable of this that means that anyone can do it perhaps with excellent conditioning, training or a little genetic manipulation. Over the last decade brain researchers have come up with some incredible discoveries of how the brain actually works and each time we are amazed at how well such a simple device does.

It seems impossible that works so well and it makes people wonder who work on artificial intelligence how come they cannot duplicate a machine to do that. Most people believe that someday we will develop artificial intelligence, which will be able to work better than the human mind in nearly everything that the human mind does.

But also remember the human mind is controlling the human body and it is also engaged in thinking, reasoning, decision-making and storage of information that comes in from the senses. Much of our mind bandwidth, over 60% is said to be used up in the visual section of the brain taking in the sights that we see and recording them.

This means if you close your eyes he should be able to increase your human mind bandwidth by 60%. Imagine increasing your brain bandwidth by 60% and that would mean you can process information 60% faster, store 60% more information or a combination of 30% more storage and working 30% faster or perhaps even better than that. No one knows the limitations of the human mind or it actual bandwidth, as it is one of the most incredible organic machines ever created.
